The family would like to announce the passing of Alice Ann Granger, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, who left us on January 31, 2025, at the age of 81 surrounded by her family. Born on August 3, 1943, in Lake Arthur, LA, Alice lived a life devoted to her family and her faith.

Alice was a true homemaker who found joy in raising her five children along with raising many more in her life; Randal (Glenda) Granger, Brian Granger, Kayla (Rick) Crochet, Roxanne McKinney, and Bradley (Kayla) Granger. She was the proud grandmother of numerous grandchildren, including Taylor (Macie), Paige, Kenzee, Brynn (Jacob), Carson, Garrett (Cammy), Kacie (Lucas), Gabe (Macie), Aaron (Hannah), Jennifer (Dustin), Amy, and 13 great grandchildren. Alice delighted in cooking for her family and spending quality time together, creating many treasured memories that will forever warm their hearts.

A faithful servant of the Lord, Alice's life was a testament to her love for her faith and her family. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family invites everyone to celebrate Alice's life with them. Public viewings will be held at Miguez Funeral Home on February 4, 2025, from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, and again on February 5, 2025, at 8:00 AM. A Mass will follow at St. Lawrence Catholic Church at 11:00 AM on February 5, 2025. Alice will then be laid to rest at the St. Lawrence Community Cemetery, located at 5505 Pine Island Highway, Jennings, LA, at 12:00 PM.

In this time of mourning, the family invites you to share your memories and pay your respects to a remarkable woman who enriched the lives of everyone around her. Alice will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; Eldridge Landry, Helen Landry, husband; JC Granger, great grandson; Owen McKinney, sisters; Lucille Murray, Thelma Lyon, Lillian Bonds, and her brothers; Bill Landry, Clarence Landry, Edward Landry, Paul Landry.
