She was preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Rosemary Granger; her sister, Michelle Granger, and her brother, Bernie Granger.

Being a light of laughter and good times was her philosophy for life. Cakie will always be remembered for her radiant smile, and the joy she brought into every room she entered.

Countless cherished family memories include her being Dino’s little “brother,” following him everywhere he went until he discovered she was girl.

Her children—Melanie “Lulu Girl,” Aaron “Fat Baby,” and Jason “Punkin Head”—along with her “Grammies babies,” were the absolute light of her life.

Cakie had a way of making everyone feel like family. Whether through laughter, storytelling, or simply her presence, she created lasting bonds with everyone she met. She loved bringing people together, and her home and heart were always open. Her strength, humor, and unwavering love will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
