Alice G. Hegarty

Alice G. Hegarty, age 91 of Berkley, passed away June 3, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Owen. Loving mother of Edward (Carol) Hegarty, Judith (Kenneth) Gafa, and Samuel Hegarty. Dear sister of Kate Baer, Jane Tolman, and the late David, Charles, and Patricia. Proud grandmother of Stephanie (John) Kroell, Madison Gafa, Owen Gafa, Shane Gafa, Jason (Kristin) McCarrick. Caring great grandmother of Ryan Fox, Tyler (Audrey) Fox, Troy Kroell, and Kailie McCarrick. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday 2:30-8 p.m. at the Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home, 2125 12 Mile Road, Berkley (2 blks W of Woodward). Mrs. Hegarty will lie instate Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass 10 a.m. at National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica, 2100 W. 12 Mile Road (NE corner of 12 Mile and Woodward). Burial, Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley.
