Alice Lasseigne Obituary
Survived by her grandchildren Philip Lasseigne (Kaitlin), Aimee Garrison (Cory), James Lasseigne, Charlotte Lasseigne, Kristen Clement and Matthew Clement. Great-grandmother to Willow, Sam, Violet and Mallory. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Alice was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church for over 40 years and church secretary for 10 years. She was a devoted mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a strong woman of faith and a "prayer warrior". A daily devotional book "Streams in the Desert" given to her by a dear friend helped her to deal with issues throughout her life.
Alice was the most thoughtful, caring and loving person. To know Alice was to love Alice. She loved making lace cookies and giving them away to family, friends and strangers. She spent evenings with crossword puzzles and adult coloring.
Alice considered the congregation of Mt. Olive as her family. She will be dearly missed, until we meet again.
Family and friends are invited to attend the service at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 315 Ridgelake Dr. Metairie, LA. 70001, on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and the Service at 12:00 PM followed by Interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Dr. 70001
