Alice Ann Sweatman Levins, age 82, of Beebe, formerly of North Little Rock, died July 11, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert Levins, and her parents, Bernice and Louis Sweatman of North Little Rock. She is survived by her children, Robert Levins and his wife, Jean Guccione of Glendale, California, Tracy Levins-Canning and her husband, Jeff Canning of Austin, Texas, Lara Boyce of Beebe, and Katie Freeman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, five grandchildren, Ethan Boyce (Carli Cox) of Little Rock, Jacob Boyce (Bobbie Boyce) of Beebe, Alex Boyce (Courtney West) of Conway, Abby Canning of Washington, DC, and Kate Canning of New Orleans. She is also remembered by three great-grandchildren, Aryanna, Riley, and Harper Boyce, a sister, Linda Privett of Lonoke and a niece, Lisa Privett, also of Lonoke.
A 1961 graduate of North Little Rock High School, Alice will be missed by her high school friends who continue to gather for monthly lunches and fellowship. She was a member of the Beebe United Methodist Church and past member of the White County Master Gardeners. She will be deeply missed by her friends in her domino playing group, the Shepherd Center in Beebe, her monthly Bunco gatherings, and her dear friends and neighbors. Alice loved to travel and enjoyed annual trips to celebrate her birthday with her three daughters, including recent trips to New Orleans, Savannah, New York City, and a Hawaiian cruise.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 4:00 pm at Beebe United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the name of Alice Levins to the Shepherd’s Center of Beebe at P.O. Box 247, Beebe, AR 72012.
