Alice Irene Marshall, age 90, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at her home in St. Helen, MI. She was born on March 21, 1935, in Germfask, MI to George and Viola (Lindsey) Allen.
During her life, Alice enjoyed many hobbies and interests, including hunting, fishing, traveling, gardening, and canning. However, nothing brought her more joy than family gatherings, where she could celebrate and create memories with her loved ones.
Alice is survived by her loving husband, Alvin Marshall, her brother, William Allen, and her daughters: Kay (Kenny) Felkner, Debra (Lyle) Brown, Shawn (Steve) Brown, Robin (Pam) Marshall, and Trudy Smiley. Her joyful spirit shone through in her 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her loving parents, her daughters Jean Harris, Cindi Modin, Tammy Durbin, Sherry Brown-Molands, as well as her son, Frank Boursaw. The loss of her two brothers and six sisters further deepened the love and strength that she carried within her.
Visitation will be held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Bryan Clark will officiate.
Alice Irene Marshall is remembered for her warmth, strength, and deep love for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
