Midden, Alice, 92, of Eureka Springs Arkansas, died on January 18, 2026.

Alice was born in St. Louis, Mo.

Alice married Gus Midden on June 23,1951. They were married for 72 years.

After she retired, she and her husband, Gus, moved to Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Alice and her loving husband, Gus enjoyed traveling. When she wasn't traveling, she enjoyed knitting and being a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Eureka Springs. She really enjoyed living in Eureka Springs and being part of the community there.

Alice is survived by her four children, Jerry(Mary) Midden, Kim(Edward) Schniedermeyer, Thomas(Lisa) Midden, Janice(Douglas) Hymer; her grandchildren, Jamie(Christopher) Gray, Daniel(Kelly) Midden, Ethan Schniedermeyer, Amanda Schniedermeyer, Ryan(Mary Katelin) Schniedermeyer, Jake Midden, Ava Midden; her great grandchildren, Ashley Gray, Charlie Gray, Augie Midden, Dorothy Midden, Mickey Midden, Parker Schniedermeyer, Mary June Schniedermeyer and Griffin Schniedermeyer.

Alice is preceded in death by her daughter, Victoria Midden and her husband, Gus Midden.


Alice will always be remembered for her big smile that warmed the hearts of so many!


The family of Alice Midden wishes to thank the wonderful staff of the Elsberry Health Care Center for their kindness and compassion!


A “Celebration of Alice’s Life” will be held at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Eureka Springs, Arkansas at a later time.
