Alice Dixon Pearson

Alice Dixon Pearson, age 86 of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025 at her home. She was born May 12, 1939 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Wilburn Dixon and the late Ruby Eplee Dixon. She was the widow of her first husband Jvonne Dimsdale and her second husband George Wesley Pearson. Alice was very devoted to George and his family. She loved fast cars, NASCAR, live country music and Elvis.

Alice is survived by her grandchildren; Jason Israel Philbeck, Jess Owens Brooks and Miriam Alisa Dorsey, one sister Miriam Dixon, step children; Traci Arnold and George Pearson Jr., step grandchildren; Deidre Pearson, Travis Taylor, Dustin Pearson, Harley Arnold and Janie Arnold.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Alice was preceded in death by her children; Joy Dimsdale Owens, Jvonne Avery Dimsdale and Teresa Carol Dorsey and one grandchild, Joshua Avery Dorsey.

The family will hold their own memorial gathering at a later date. Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC served the family.
