On February 9, 2024, Alice Joan Sadek left this world to meet Jesus, her Husband Al, family and friends that went on before her.
Memorial service will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church in Bemidji on Friday February 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm with the visitation at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice or to Bethel Lutheran Church.
Alice was born on June 11, 1939 in Bemidji, MN to Lloyd (Bud) and Marvel Rabe. She was born and grew up on the Rabe Farm in Bemidji. Alice married Albert Joseph Sadek on June 15, 1957 and they had 3 boys. She took great pride in being a wife, mother and grandmother. Alice had a home daycare center for 25 years. During the last years after Al retired he joined her taking care of the children. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping, riding motorcycle and going to Texas for the winters with her husband. She loved spending time with family.
Alice is survived by her sons, Albert (Tammi) Sadek, Daniel (Paula) Sadek, and Mike (Cherene) Sadek; grandchildren, Albert (Sierra) Sadek, Tabatha (John) Conkle, Jennifer (Andy) Pomp; great grandchildren; Brother, William (Rita) Rabe; Step-brother Donnie Wintersteen; many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Albert, parents, sister Irene, brother in-law Virgil, nephew Bill Rabe Jr, Niece Vicky Schulke and numerous other family.
