Alice Mae Seidelman

Alice Mae Seidelman, 90 of Yorkville, wife of the late Donald L Seidelman Sr, daughter of the late Clara Cecilia and William Ira Mosley, passed away March 28th, surrounded by family at her home in Yorkville Il.

Alice is survived by her 8 children, Cheryl (Dan) Tuymer, Robert (Dale) Seidelman, Donald (Debra) Seidelman, James (Julie) Seidelman, Cynthia (Val) Rodriguez, Linda Seidelman, Lee (Kathy) Seidelman, and Christine (James) Karcher; sisters, Patricia Torrance and Kathy Jadin; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Seidelman Sr., grandsons, Jason Rodriguez, Daniel Holbrook, and Michael Seidelman and siblings, Barbara Peck, Jeanne Wollenweber, Marie Mosley and William Ira Mosley Jr.

Alice joined the Moecherville Fire Department Women's Auxilliary (Now Aurora Township Fire Dept.) going on to become a Trustee, EMT Instructor, and part of Southern Fox Valley EMS System Coordinators. She served on Olney C Allen PTA as member and Chairwoman, as well as a Girl Scout Leader, 4H Leader, and CCD Teacher at St. Therese Church. She worked many jobs -BRK, Copley Physical Therapy, Caroline House, Bensons, and others. She had a servant's heart and came alongside many seniors to help where she could as well as serving at many Ice Cream Social Fundraisers, and activities which became a family affair.

Family will be receiving guests on Friday, April 10, 2026 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 South Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538. An interment will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 10:30am at Lincoln Memorial Park, 675 US-30, Aurora, IL 60503.
