Alice M. Slemmer, 64, of Dover, passed away at Aultman Hospital on January 26, 2025, due to a sudden health issue.
Born on March 4, 1960, in Alliance, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Jacqueline (Hayes) Maley.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Alice dedicated much of her life to being a homemaker for her family. She worked a variety of small jobs over the years, but her true joy came from caring for others. She was known for her kindness and ability to make friends easily, and she was loved by everyone who knew her.
Alice had a deep love for spending time on the beaches of Oak Island and caring for her beloved pets.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Robert “Bob” Slemmer; children, Damion, Angela, Rob Slemmer, Andy (companion, Manda) Slemmer, and Lee (Heather) Slemmer; grandchildren, Cali, Eliza, and Sofia Slemmer; and her closest friends, Barb and Vicky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her sisters, Mary Jane Pallon and Theresa J. Maley.
No public visitation or services are planned.
