Alice Valinda Smith known as “Linda”, was born on March 11, 1960. She was the 4th born child to Charles Smith and Catherine Goodman Smith in Alaska Fortwainwright.
The family relocated to Columbus, Ohio in 1967 where she received her formal education through the Columbus City School System. She graduated from Marion Franklin High School and from there she attended Bliss Business College and Columbus State Community College.

From 1977 through 1992, she had three beautiful children; Marlon, Tiffany and Kevin, also know as “Davon”. Followed by her loving grandchildren.
Linda was a strong independent, no-nonsense woman who would tell it like it was and was also a “Miss Fix It”. She didn’t play at all (lol). She was a wonderful mother and was always there for her children at all times no matter the circumstances.
She was an avid online shopper. She also had a green thumb and could keep any plant alive (lol). She loved reality TV and enjoyed updating her baby sister Pam about the latest episodes. She loved music, especially Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu, and Sade. She also loved seashells and butterflies, but most of all, spending time with her family.
