Alice Tarrant

Alice (Konieczny) Tarrant, 87, of Longmeadow, MA, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025.
Alice was born June 18, 1937, in New Yok City to Alfred and Veronica (Vajda) Konieczny, their only child. She grew up in Springfield, MA and is a graduate of Classical High School, where she excelled in academics and cheerleading while working as a licensed hairdresser in her mother's salon after school.
She married Kent Tarrant (former) and raised their three children in Longmeadow. She loved the outdoors. She enjoyed cooking, reading novels, playing (and watching) tennis, skiing, and playing bridge with friends. She had a special love for her grandchildren and found great pride in their accomplishments.
Alice was predeceased by her daughter Tricia Tarrant and grandson Jacob Crowell of Springfield, MA.
She is survived by two daughters, Paige Laliberte (Chris) of Montgomery, MA, Lisa Tarrant Martensson (Jon) of East Longmeadow, MA; grandchildren Jessica Caldwell, Gretchen Drane, Noelle Tarrant, Spencer Martensson, and Seneca (Martensson) Correa; six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She will remain in the hearts of her loving family.
