Boucher Funeral Home, Inc.Alice M. (Boucher) (Hough) Thibodeau, 74, of Phillipston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Adamsville, New Brunswick, Canada, on October 20, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Eva (Richard) Boucher. Prior to her retirement, Alice was the devoted owner and operator of a local children's daycare, "Daycare by Alice," which she proudly ran for more than 30 years, caring for and nurturing generations of children in the community.
She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion in Baldwinville. Alice greatly enjoyed traveling to the beaches of Florida, where she and her husband spent ten cherished years as snowbirds, soaking in the warm sunshine. She also loved the simple pleasures of summer, especially camping in Salisbury, as well as line dancing, ballroom dancing, crafting, and tending to her garden. Above all else, Alice treasured the time she spent with her family. Her children and grandchildren were truly her pride and joy, and the moments shared with them meant the world to her.
Alice is survived her husband, Charles Thibodeau of Phillipston; sons; Jason Hough and his soulmate, Kim Macdonald, Randy Hough and his wife Kendra; her grandchildren Daniel Hough, William Hough, Josh Hough and his wife Kate, Mike and his wife Michaela, Savanna Hough , Brandon Ayles, Josh Ayles, Jeremy Ayles, Mark Ayles, Jonathan Hough and soul mate Shelby Cora, Randy Hough Jr. and David Hough; several great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Killian, Kaleb, Keagan, Creed, Nova, Wynter, Zachary, Javen, and Jeremiah; brothers Albert Boucher and his wife Kathy, and Edmond Boucher and his wife Cindy; one sister Marie Avonie; two nieces Amy and Katie; a nephew Barry Boucher; and several cousins.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Linda Boucher and Geraldo Boucher.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA.
The family would like to thank the Care Central VNA Hospice for their loving and compassionate care during Alice's final days.
