Funeral Services for Alice Wright, age 84, of Enid, is 10:00am, Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Bible Baptist Church, with Reverends Terry Chick and Mason Weber officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery; service arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Alice Mattie Wright, 84, of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 4, 1941, in Enid, Oklahoma, and her life was rooted deeply in love, family, and quiet strength.
Alice's children were the center of her world. No matter what was needed, she always found a way to make it happen. Her love for her family was steady, unconditional, and unwavering-truly the heart of who she was.
On January 3, 1959, Alice married the love of her life, James Joseph Wright Jr., together they shared more than 66 years of devotion, laughter, and life's everyday blessings. As a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Alice led by example, showing her family what compassion and unconditional love truly look like.
Alice is preceded by her husband and daughter, Debra Lyn Wright. She is survived by her children, James Alan, Leslie Eugene, and Gary Evan; as well as seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
