A Celebration of Life service for Jack Ehlen, age 84, of Waukomis, will be 2:00 to 4:00pm, December 11, 2025, at the Buffalo Junction Chapel, in Waukomis, OK. Friends and family are welcome to share a memory of Jack from 2:30 to 3:00.
Jack was born on December 23, 1940 in Enid, OK to John and Dorothy (Hitchcock) Ehlen, and passed away on November 18, 2025 in Enid.
Jack served in the Air Force National Guard for four years. Jack studied at Oklahoma State University and Northwestern State University in Alva, where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in accounting. Jack work for various companies, including Champlin Oil Company for many years, where he was an accountant.
Jacks' family homesteaded in 1905, southeast of Enid, where he continued to live until his passing. Jack enjoyed spending time with his friends, he enjoyed his cars, his favorite was his 1978 Lincoln Town Car. Jack and his best friend Larry Parker of Waukomis, took many trips in his vehicles, sharing many good times and memories. Jack and his family lived part time in Albuquerque, New Mexico when Jack was a young boy. Many of Jacks trips were to Albuquerque, to visit friends and family.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, John, and Dorothy; and brother Robert. He is survived by sister-in-law, Jonnie Jo Ehlen; nephew Grant Ehlen; three nieces Karol Riley, Beverly Archuleta, and Janet Ehlen.
