Alice Ann Young, age 86, of Eupora, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at her residence on August 24, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on March 27, 1939, in the Cottondale area of Jefferson County, Alabama, to Larry Moore Marlow and Ora Virginia White Marlow, Alice lived a life rooted in faith, family, and kindness. She was a retired bank teller, member of Tomnolen Baptist Church in Webster County, Mississippi and will be remembered for her gentle spirit, warm heart, and love for those around her. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Kenneth R Young of Tomnolen, Mississippi; her daughter, Audrey Forbes Bowen (Keith) of Warner Robins, Georgia; stepdaughter, Pam Aiken of Oxford, Alabama; stepson, Ronald (Anita) Young of DeLand, Florida; Granddaughters, Julia Bowen (Aaron), Melody (Audrey) Bowen, Madison Young, Blake Young and Collin (Jerrika) Aiken, Tracy (Greg) Lewis and Jason (Jen) Young; great-grandchildren, Fox, Ruby, Max, Gus, Makenna, Reid, Sloane, Ellis Garrett, Brayden, Laura and Kathryn and special great niece and caregiver Caitlyn Young. She is preceded in death by her parents, Larry Moore Marlow and Ora Virginia White Marlow; one stepson, Ricky Young and all of her eleven siblings. A Funeral Service to celebrate Alice's life will be held at 11:00AM August 27, 2025, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, Mississippi. Interment will follow at Greensboro Cemetery in Webster County, Mississippi. The Graveside/Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Greensboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM and on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 9:00AM until time for services at 11:00AM at Oliver Funeral Home in Eupora. Rev. Don Parish and Rev. Chance Parish will officiate the services. Alice’s legacy of love and devotion will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her. This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 11:8.
