Alicia Ayala, 63, of Roma, Texas, passed away on August 31, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on May 14, 1962, in Idalou, Texas, to Mario and Elena Ayala.

Alicia graduated from Ralls High School in 1980 and later went on to earn her bachelor's degree. She proudly served her country as a U.S. Army Veteran from 1980 to 1984 and later dedicated her career as a U.S. Government Contractor.

She was a woman of many passions who loved spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, visiting casinos, and photography. Alicia's joyful spirit, deep love for her family, and adventurous heart will be remembered always. Among her many accomplishments, she was especially proud of receiving the Best GIGI Award, a recognition for her love and dedication for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Elena Ayala of Lubbock, TX, son Thomas F. Lewis (Jillian Y. Lewis) of Irving, TX, son Johnathan P. Lewis of Lawton, OK, and daughter Alisha M. Lewis of Lawton, OK, grandchildren Andrew P. Lewis of Irving, TX, Logan A. Lewis of Lawton, OK, Lorien M. F. Lewis of Lawton, OK, and Londyn M. Lopez of Lawton, OK, her brother Jose L. Ayala of Albuquerque, NM, sister Angie Ayala of Weatherford, OK, brother Armando Ayala of El Paso, TX, sister Patricia Ayala-Villanueva (Rey Villanueva) of Smyer, TX, and sister Imelda Garcia (Tony Garcia) of Lubbock, TX.

She was preceded in death by her father Mario Ayala, her brother Marcos Ayala, and her granddaughter Anacelli Lewis.

Alicia's life was a testament to strength, love, and service. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Alicia's life during a visitation on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Agape Funeral Chapel, 6625 W. 19th St. Suite 103, Lubbock, TX 79407. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
