Martha Alicia Farias Bradford

Our mother, Martha Alicia Farias, was born on December 6, 1955, in Michoacán, Mexico. She was the oldest of ten children. At a young age, she had the hustle and the drive to help and provide for her family.
Alicia became a hard-working, independent woman. She was also strong and smart. Mom was a responsible person and a wise investor who focused on the future and tried to stay one step ahead. She also loved to garden, crochet, cook (she made bomb food!), bake, play pool, read, collect beads, and dress nice, always. She had a lot of love for her animals as well!!!
Our Mom had four children that kept her busy and stressed: David, Rosa, Gabriela, and Martin. On August 31, 2003, she married Gregory Frank Bradford. Alicia had found her companion and the love of her life. They would often take trips to places like Bishop, June Lake, Lake Tahoe, and Hawaii. But her favorite place to visit was Mexico. The two of them would visit Rosarito and often travel down further into Baja California.
Mom was a pretty chill person. When she retired, she became a homemaker and would help others with whatever she could. She kept herself busy with all of her grandkids, three cats, and five dogs. She was a clean person and was always in the kitchen up to something. Alicia would always make sure to be dressed nice before stepping out her door. She had a beautiful style of her own!
Mom will be missed. She was the backbone of our family, and she had a good, beautiful soul. Her laugh and beautiful, smiling face will never be forgotten. On October 8, 2025, heaven gained an angel.
