Alicia Fantasia Tracy, 35, of Arapahoe, Nebraska passed on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, as the result of an auto accident northeast of Arapahoe, Nebraska. She was born on September 10, 1990 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Armando Escamilla and Marietta Porcupine. At the age of eight, Alicia came to live with Duane and Lois Bishop of Beaver City, who became a loving and steady presence in her life.
Alicia attended Beaver City Elementary and later Southern Valley Schools, graduating with the class of 2009. She married Garrett Tracy in May of that year, and together they welcomed three children--Aryanna, Brionna, Conner-who were the greatest joys of her life. Although the marriage later ended. Alicia’s devotion to her children never wavered.
Family time was especially important to Alicia. She treasured Sunday dinners at the farm and loved spending time with fiancé, Austin Hyke, planning their upcoming wedding in October and the upcoming birth of her granddaughter in May. Taking evening drives through the countryside, listening to music, and watching the sunsets were some of her favorite moments. Alicia preferred warm weather, dreamed of traveling the world, and had a creative spirit—finding joy in drawing and art. She also enjoyed time spent with her many friends and looking forward to the birth of her granddaughter.
She is survived by her children; Aryanna, Brionna, Conner, fiancé Austin Hyke, and his son Aiden, parents Duane and Lois Bishop, Armondo Escamilla, siblings Quentin Porcupine, Carlos Porcupine, Mario Escamilla, Kiana Escamilla, Bobbi (Sean) Kennedy, Vanessa (Michael) Ring, Bryce (Chelsey) Bishop, Karissa (Jeff) Weaver, Shane (Stephanie) Kiersey, Tasha (Levi) Johnson, Ashley Marcum, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by her mother Marietta Porcupine, brother Brandon Bishop, and both her grandparents.
A Celebration of life will be held Thursday, February 5th, 2026, at 3 PM at the Arapahoe Methodist Church, Arapahoe, Nebraska with Terry Klein, officiating. Inurnment will take place at Maple Creek Cemetery, Beaver City, Nebraska at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family in lieu of flowers.
