Alisandro Sandoval, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on September 4, 2025, after a long illness. Born on July 15, 1940, in San Juan, New Mexico, Alisandro lived a life rich in experiences and love, drawing from his roots and embracing every moment with passion.

With a commendable career spanning over 15 years at the Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant, Alisandro was dedicated to his work, embodying a strong work ethic that inspired those around him. Yet, it was his vibrant spirit, love for life, and incredible talents that truly defined him. A celebrated player, he earned a Master’s degree not in academia, but in the game of pool, captivating friends and family alike with his remarkable abilities and skills on the table.

Alisandro was not just a man of talents, but a man with deep passions—his love for travel saw him exploring the beautiful landscapes of Flagstaff, Arizona, and the enchanting essence of New Mexico. He treasured moments spent playing card games, relishing in the joy they brought to gatherings, and often delighted in good conversations accompanied by a plate of Green Chile Rellenos and the soulful sounds of Spanish music that filled the air—a true celebration of his heritage.

He was married to his beloved wife, Lupe Sandoval, whom he wed on January 17, 1976, in Flagstaff, Arizona. Their love story blossomed over the decades, marked by loyalty, love, and a commitment that served as a guiding light for their family. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family, including children Nancy Barron, Lawrence Sandoval, Joselino Sandoval, Linda Sandoval, and Frankie Sandoval, who carry forward the values and warmth instilled in them by their father.

Alisandro's legacy continues through his grandchildren—Alexander, Anthony, Johnny, Nathaniel, Emanuel, Jon Banaay, Adrian, Frankie, and Carlos—who will always remember the laughter and love he shared. He is also survived by siblings Juan Sandoval, Lorine Agala (Franky), Mary Sandoval (Jesus), Alicia Padilla, Florencia Jackson (James), and Ray Sandoval (Mickey), along with multiple generations of nieces and nephews who held him dear.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joselino Sandoval, mother, Florinda Sandoval, sister, Gloria, daughter Nancy, and brothers Delfinio, Wilford, Meres, Orlando, Bernabe, Demetrio, and David. Each of these loved ones has shaped Alisandro's journey, and he carries their memories in the hearts of those left behind.

Alisandro’s visitation will be held on September 13, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Avenidas Funeral Chapel in Avondale, Arizona. Family and friends are invited to share stories and celebrate the life of a remarkable man whose presence will forever be felt in the lives he touched. His journey may have concluded, but the love he fostered and the memories created will echo in the hearts of many for years to come.
