Alison was born in Cincinnati, OH to Robert and Janet Gravitt II. She married Kevin Kersting of Cincinnati, Ohio on October 5, 2002. Alison taught 5th grade at Colerain Elementary for over 20 years and then two years at Taylor Elementary. Alison had the pleasure of teaching in the district she grew up in.
She was passionate about her family and friends and touched thousands of lives.
Alison is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Kevin Kersting, her daughters, Carly and Caitlyn Kersting, her mother, Janet Gravitt, brothers, Brian (Tammy) Gravitt, Robert (Christine) Gravitt, in-laws Gary & Karen (nee Dreher) Kersting, brother-in-law Jeffrey (Kacey) Kersting and 7 nieces & nephews and many extended relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert Gravitt II.
Visitation will be held Saturday, 11th of September, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, when services will begin, at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 1927 W Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45240.
Alison will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations can be directed to Alison's daughter's Ohio 529's at Ohio Tuition Trust Authority, College Advantage Direct 529 Savings Plan, PO Box 219305, Kansas City, MO 64121-9305, Memo: 780540208-05.

Our deepest sympathies & condolences to Kevin, Carly, Caitlyn, her mother Janet, extended family, & friends regarding the passing of Alison Gravitt Kersting after a noble battle with a deadly disease. Ali will be dearly missed for being such a nice person to all who experienced her graces with the pure heart, soul, & spirit of a beloved daughter, wife, mother, parishioner, teacher, & friend. May God please bless Alison through eternity in heaven. Amen
