Ryan Kersting

Britton, SD: The Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Ryan Kersting will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Forman. Fr. Tim Schroeder will celebrate the mass and inurnment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery of Cogswell, ND. Ryan Kent Kersting was born March 6, 1975 in Oakes, ND to Doran and Ruby (Cady) Kersting. He grew up on a farm outside of Cogswell, ND and completed high school. He went on to work several different jobs before starting with Hortons in Britton, SD, where he has worked for the past 16 years. Ryan passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 at Avera McKennan in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 50. He wasn't a man of many words, but he loved his family, and his family will dearly miss him. He is survived by his children: Tristin, Liza and Gabriella; his mother, Ruby Kersting; siblings: Arvin (Barb) Kersting, Julie (Marvin) Fliehs, Myron Kersting, Darwin Kersting, Galeyn (Melissa) Kersting, and Kelly (Robin) Kersting; his goddaughter, Lacie; and a number of nieces, nephews and their families.
