Alissa Lorraine Jacobs age 20 of Sturgis passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
Alissa was born on March 12, 2004, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a daughter to Mark and Lisa (Delp) Jacobs. Alissa was a graduate of Colon High School as a member of the class of 2022. She was currently employed at Midwest Tool in Sturgis where she just celebrated one year of employment.
Surviving Alissa are her parents: father Mark (Kelly) Jacobs of Kalamazoo, and mother Lisa Jacobs of Sturgis, siblings: Chase (Mandy Hunnaman) Delp (Delle) of Colon, and Austin "Miles" (Rebekah Scofield) Jacobs of Colon, step siblings: Lynzee Tschupp, Shayla Iden, Jazmin Batty, grandparents: Karen (Jeff) Owen of Sturgis, and Mervel "Dick" Delp of Colon, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceding Alissa in death are her grandparents: Kenneth and Joann Jacobs, aunt Marie Weaver, and cousin Jennifer Surach.
The Jacobs family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD. from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Randy Evans officiating. Cremation will take place following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be made to either the Colon Cheer team or the Colon Varsity Volleyball team. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

She will be so missed I will always remember he r smile and laugh everytime I would see her she was so outgoing and happy she brought joy to everyone's life she touched l. She touched many lives in many ways the lord has gained a beautiful angel
