Alix Olivia Rego passed away on July 9, 2025 in Mission Viejo, California.
Born in 1980 in Mission Viejo, California, Alix graduated from Trabuco Hills High School in 1999. She attended adult education classes through Saddleback Valley Unified School District, later transferring to Saddleback College's adult special education program.
During her youth, Alix was a Special Olympic athlete, specializing in the tennis ball throw, 50-meter dash, and bowling, which earned her numerous medals and podium visits. She participated in both the AYSO VIP program and Challenger Little League. An avid bowler, Alix enjoyed weekly bowling leagues with friends using her personalized ball and equipment.
Alix enjoyed serving in the hospitality ministry at her parish, participating every Sunday. She was an active member of Tustin Area Republican Women Federated and California Federation of Republican Women. When not volunteering, Alix enjoyed spending time with her family, watching WWE wrestling and her favorite programs, and cheering on her favorite team, the Angels.
Alix is survived by her parents, Albert and Gail, her siblings Daniel and Stacie (Robert), her nephew Santiago, and her aunt, uncle, and six cousins.

Alix was a light and true miracle who touched the lives of all she met. Her light and love will continue to shine in all whose lives she reached.
A celebration of life for Alix will take place on Tuesday, July 22nd at 12:00 PM at:
Santiago de Compostela Catholic Church

Interment will follow at:
Ascension Cemetery
