Al is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara "Bobbie" (nee Rothstein) Caplin. Loving father to Pam (David) Lippy, Audrey (David Belleli) Caplin, Daniel (Sherry Klein) Caplin, and Laurel (Aaron) Fritzhand. His memory will remain with his grandchildren, Courtney, Carly, Harrison, Adam, Jacob, Andrew, Hannah, Sophie, Zach, Max, and Lexi. Al is also survived by his siblings, Beryl (Marydee) Caplin and Lily (Sheldon) Small.
A private burial will be taking place at United Jewish Cemetery Loveland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bikur Cholim of Cleveland.

Al was my foreman at the Mark Four apartments in 1969 , he was definitely a man for others , he made it a pleasure going to work . Rest in peace . Tom Oberg
