Allan Crawley Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Evans Funeral Home and Memory Gardens, Inc. - Jefferson on Feb. 12, 2026.
Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Allan Brantley Crawley, age 70, of Forsyth, Georgia, who passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Allan was born on June 28, 1955 at Lockbourne Air Force Base in Columbus Ohio. Prior to entering into a career as an electrician, Allan played college baseball for Gadson State Junior College, an accomplishment he was very proud of. He later passed on that love of sports to his children, coaching his two sons in both football and baseball. Those seasons spent with his children are something they will always remember and cherish. Outside of work, he was an avid hunter and spent many seasons outdoors, another activity he enjoyed sharing with his children.

Today his family finds comfort in knowing that he is restored…his strength and health regained in heaven…and he is reunited with his beloved wife Tammy, who passed before him and whom he missed deeply.

He was proceeded in death by his father Paul P. Crawley Jr, his mother Virginia Ann Schulz, his Sister Lynda Lou Moss and his beloved wife, Tammy Maxine Crawley.

He is survived by his children, David Allan Crawley, Lacy Day Chapman and Austin Crawley, his grandchildren, Dawson Allan Crawley and Brody Levi Crawley, Brookelynn Isabella Roberts, Stetson Cash and Rilynn Ruth Chapman and Ellie Crawley, his Dad Richard G Schulz and his Brothers Paul P. Crawley III and Gary R. Crawley.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Croyle officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Jackson County at http://www.bgcjcga.org/donate.html
