Barbara Sue Crawley

Barbara Sue Purvis Crawley passed on February 18, 2026 at ST. Joe hospital surrounded by her family. Barabra was born in Frankfort, KY to the late James Harrison and Birdie Mae Purvis on December 5, 1942. Barbara grew up in Frankfort, KY and raised her family In Georgetown, KY. She loved UK basketball, cooking and most of all spending time with her family.

Barbara will be remembered by her children Lorie Crawley, and Lane Crawley (Kim). Her grandchildren Brittany Adams (Eric), Ryan Crawley, Jules Crawley, Jayden Crawley, Emma Crawley and Kara Crawley. Her great grandchildren Madison Sinckler (Raul), Skyler Wells (Bryanna) and Lucas Duncan, as well as 4 great great grandchildren Preston , Hayden, Lainey Sinckler and Rynlee Wells. Brothers and Sisters : Brenda Abner, Ollie Gayle Purvis, Pamela Guy (Buel), Beverly Hockensmith (Freddy), Lisa Hockensmith, Vickie Moran, Harold Wayne Purvis, and Mary Jo Erhand.

Proceeded in death by: Sandra Jennings, Pamela Hockensmith, James Purvis, Elsie Smith, Ricky Purvis, Jessie Purvis, and Phyllis Lee.

Visitation will be at Tucker, Yocum and Wilson funeral home 320 W. Main Street, Georgetown, KY Tuesday February 24, 2026 5pm -8pm for all family and friends. Burial will be a family burial Wednesday February 25, 2026 at 12pm (all immediate and extended family are welcome at burial)
