Allan B. Degenhart

Allan B. Degenhart, 86, of Vancouver, WA, passed away on September 20, 2025. Born in Yakima, WA, to Raymond and Susanna Degenhart, Al spent 62 wonderful years married to his wife, Carol. Together they raised four children: Wanda Zumwalt (Bob), Bill Degenhart (Shannon), Mark Degenhart, and Mike Degenhart (Debbie). He was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Al served in the US Army; he worked in the motor pool while he was stationed in Korea. He retired from the Washington State Department of Transportation, where he worked as a mechanic/supervisor. A lifelong car enthusiast, he was an original member and the first president of the Beach Barons Car Club in Long Beach, WA. He was also a lifelong blood donor for the Red Cross donating over 23 gallons of blood. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
