Allen has been my friend since kindergarten in 1952? We played little league baseball together. played trumpet trios with Bobby Romero and Allen. Allen was a great positive spirit to all who knew him. I was blessed to have had him as a friend growing up. A good man, A good life. Houston McKenzie

I have known Allan since we were in elementary school in Tucumcari. Allan and I were fraternity brothers at ENMU. For many many many years, Allan was one of the very best trumpet players in NM. Allan was an "A+" person. John Funk / Roswell
