Allan Francis Royal

Allan Francis Royal, 61 of North Adams, MA died on Tuesday September 2nd, 2025 at his home.

He was born in North Adams, MA on November 7, 1963, a son of the late John Allan Royal and Beverly Ann (Hart) Royal. He graduated from Drury High School.

Allan worked as a property caretaker for Galusha Construction for many years. He was a communicant of the former Incarnation Church and St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. He enjoyed working in his yard, classic cars, spending time with his family, and tending to his parakeet without a name, affectionately known as "The Bird". His favorite part of his evening routine was an ice cream before bed.

Survivors include his daughter, Sarah E. Gomes (Rita) of Lanesborough, MA, his son, Gregory A. Royal of North Adams, MA and his former wife Renee M. Royal of North Adams, MA. He also leaves his brother, Richard Allan Royal of Cheshire, MA, and his dear friends Jen and Fernando Ponce of Williamstown, MA.

He is also remembered with love by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Allan Royal will be Wednesday September 10th, 2025 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday morning September 10th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
