Allen Brunkhardt Obituary
Allen was born March 3, 1955 in Fort Morgan, Colorado, the son of Robert J. and Audrey A. (Church) Brunkhardt. Allen received his Doctor of Podiatry and worked as a Podiatrist for several years. He later attended Nursing School and worked as a Registered Nurse for a time. Until his retirement, Allen worked as a case manager/supervisor for the VA Clinic in Galesburg.
Allen is survived by two sisters, LouAnn Kallsen and Jill (Mike) Kuhlmann both of Greeley, Colorado; three nephews; one niece; five great nephews; and one great niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Keith Kallsen.
Allen traveled extensively visiting numerous places around the world including Israel, Hawaii, and New York. He enjoyed collecting and creating many different family photo albums that he would share with his family. An avid collector of Nativity Scenes, he amassed more than one hundred sets.
Cremation has been accorded. Graveside services will be Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Fort Morgan Cemetery, Memory Gardens, Fort Morgan, Colorado. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg, Illinois.

Sorry, correction. At that time in the mid 70's it was called USC. University of Southern Colorado. In Pueblo CO. We actually met for the first time on the quiet floor of the dorm. And we became friends, and then graduated together, and stayed in touch since 1974.
