Allen Wilson Carter

ALLEN WILSON CARTER, age 69 of Manassas, Virginia died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Potomac Hospital, Woodbridge, Virginia. Mr. Carter was born March 20, 1939 in Linden, Virginia, son of the late James and Ruth (nee Mauck) Carter. Allen loved to spend time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchild. He also enjoyed watching World Wrestling Entertainment. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Elizabeth M. Carter. He is survived by four children, Robert A. Carter and wife Michelle of Strasburg, VA, Michael A. Carter and wife Shelly of Manassas, VA, Debbie L. Carter of Stafford, VA and Lorie A. Carter of Manassas, VA; two sisters, Shirley Revard and Beverley Denny; three brothers, Wade Carter, Roger Carter and Donald Carter; eight grandchildren, Michelle, Morgan, Megan, Dylan, Mason, Brady, Mary and Madyson and one great granddaughter, Hallie. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas where funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Friday, August 22, 2008 with Pastor Denver Turner officiating.
