Allen Lee Stewart, age 71, passed away October 18, 2021 with his sons at his side, another victim of the Covid virus.
Allen was born November 6, 1949 to Dale and Myrtle Stewart. He graduated from Jefferson High School in New Paris in 1967. Allen worked at Dana Corporation and retired from there after many years.
Allen enjoyed working in his barn on projects of all sorts. He loved his old movie collection and TV shows, watching each as if it was the first time he had seen them.
Allen was an avid music fan, collecting records starting at an early age. He started collecting Beatles records when they came on the scene which became a lifelong hobby. His knowledge of their records was second to none throughout the world and he dealt with many of the top collectors in the country.
Allen was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Becky Stewart just weeks ago. Also preceding him were his parents, brother Gary, and youngest son Brian.
Allen leaves behind two sons, Allen and Bradley Stewart, two brothers, David and Victor, and three grandchildren Josh, Kira, and Emma. Seeing him down at the barn and mom working in the woods when pulling in the drive will be sorely missed. They were both loved and will be missed greatly forevermore.
A graveside service will take place Friday October 22, 2021 at 1pm at Spring Lawn cemetery New Paris, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio. Online Condolences via www.barnesfuneralhome.com
