He is survived by his wife: Marlene Hembree Martin; children: Rebecca Swofford, Kyle Swofford and his wife Denise, Lisa Martin Pope and her husband David, Leslie Martin; grandchildren: Matthew K Bohannon and his wife Brittany Gray, Alicia Bohannon Torrevillas and her husband Topher, Christopher Swofford, Marlin Ranson, Nicole Swofford; great-grandchildren: Khole Bohannon, Colton Bohannon; brothers: Larry Widener, Herbert (H.L.) Martin, Robert Martin.
The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Charles Gibbs officiating.
Interment will follow at Central Baptist Church Cemetery.
