Allen Wayne Murphy

Allen Wayne Murphy, age 59, of Gloucester, died on Monday, March 18, 2024. Allen was born on June 10, 1964, to Wayne and Florene Little Murphy. Allen enjoyed fishing and shooting pool. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys. He was a family man who was especially proud of his girls. Allen loved going to the cabin in Lunenburg, VA with his best friend Mark Mellon, where he found peace. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael F. Deskins. Allen is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tracy, daughters Miranda Murphy, Danielle Woodard, and bonus daughter Lauren Eggleston. He is also survived by his sisters, Madonna L. Price and Freda A. Murphy Brown. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, officiated by Pastor Tom Cohick, to begin at 10:00 am. Interment to follow in Rosewell Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Services under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home.
