Allen D. Overton

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Allen D. Overton, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 58. Allen was born on July 27, 1964, in Port Jefferson, New York, to Allen F. Overton and Maryann Overton (Nee Pfriender).
Allen was a beloved brother to his siblings, Kevin Overton (Joanne), Debbie, and Theresa. He was a devoted uncle to his nephew, Matthew, and his niece, Megan. Allen was known for his generosity and kind-hearted nature, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Allen loved to shop and was a frequent patron of Panera Bread, which he adored. He was proud of his job at Mather Hospital, where he worked for many years. Allen was passionate about visiting New York City, and he had a talent for sign language, which he would use to communicate with those who were deaf or hard of hearing.
In his spare time, Allen loved to garden and spend time in his pool, which brought him much joy. He also had a deep love for all things chocolate.
A wake will be held at Moloney's Lake Funeral Home on Sunday from 4-8 pm, with a wake service at 6 pm.
Allen D. Overton will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
