Mr. Allen “Dennis” Ring, 60, of Fort Valley formerly of Tifton passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Atrium Health Navicent Hospice Pine Pointe in Macon.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Tim Harsey officiating. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home before the service.
Roger Weaver, Zach Ring, Ernesto Diaz, Craig Barber, Chris Paul and Chuck Allen will serve as pallbearers. Tom Folds, Randy Paul and Sonny Ard will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Dennis was born July 22, 1963 in Irwin County, to Mrs. Edna Ruth Paul Ring and the late Herman Terrell Ring, who died January 4, 2012.
After graduating from Tift County High School in 1982, Dennis began his career as a machinist at Bowen Aircraft in Macon. For sixteen years, he skillfully contributed to the success of the company until its unfortunate closure. Additionally, Dennis showcased his entrepreneurial spirit by being self-employed as a painter and pressure washer.
While Dennis was committed to his career path, he also found solace and fulfillment in his hobbies. Fishing and hunting were not just pastimes for him but integral parts of his life that brought him immense joy. The peaceful moments spent by the water or in the woods brought out his competitive nature.
Along with his Mother, he leaves behind cherished memories with his surviving family members: his brother and sister-in-law Chris and Ashley Ring of Tifton; his nephew Zach Ring; and his niece Anna Kate Ring.
