Allen Hilton Rogers was born March 24, 1958 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Fred and Gladys Rogers. He departed this life on October 18, 2025, surrounded by his family in Wilmington.

He received his early education in the public schools in Wilmington, Delaware and graduated from P.S. DuPont in 1976. While attending high school, he was a member of the varsity football team where he played corner back and running back.

Upon graduating from high school, he worked for DuPont and Allied Signal Chemical where he was a Chemical Packer.

He was a faithful member of the Resurrection Center. He loved attending his church and talking about God and having prayer. His favorite scripture was Psalms 27. He enjoyed shopping for clothes, as he was a very fashionable dresser. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially the love of his life, his son, "Gregory". He loved talking, giving his words of wisdom. His favorite saying was "Respect". He was caring, charming, witty, and very confident. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys.

Hilton was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Davis; parents, Fred and Gladys Rogers; sister, Constance Roger; brothers, Fred Green and Gregory Rogers; and grandson, Ji'air Wing.

Hilton leaves to cherish his memory his children, Gregory Howell and Allen Rogers; five grandchildren, Ka'lie Howell Davis, Keyon Davis, Jasir Wing, Jamir Wing and Chyna Howell; one great grandson, Keyon Davis Jr.; aunt, Mamie Revelle; sister, Viola Holoman (James); Gardenia DuPree, Alfred Rogers, Fredrick Rogers (Linda); a devoted niece, Vernell Rogers; and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.
