Allen E Scull 88 of Jackson passed away peacefully with his family at his side, on Wednesday May 14, 2025. Born in Elizabeth, he resided in Union for many years before moving to Jackson in 1962. He enlisted & served in the Air Force during the Korean War from 1954-1958. He was a Test & Technology Engineer at Lockheed Martin in NJ & NH, working on the Voyager I Spacecraft technology before retiring after 33 years in 1996. He was a member of the Lockheed retirees club, the Jackson Regular Republican Club since 1972, and an elected member of the Ocean County Committee for over 20 years. He volunteered for the Union Fire Company and the Jackson District #3 Fire Company on Larson Rd. He was also a manager of a Jackson Little League Team and an avid NASCAR fan! Allen enjoyed fishing and boating all around the Barnegat Bay and just loved working on his boat at the marina. Carol and Al were the happiest cruising and traveling around the world to places like the Panama Canal, Cape Horn in S. America, Greenland and Iceland. Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Carol A Scull, children, Brian Scull and Tammy DeHope & her husband Jack, brother, Norman Scull, step-grandson Aaron Campbell, wife Nikki and their children, Kenley, Elliot & Parker. Also, his many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation is Tuesday May 20, 2025, from 3-7 PM with a 4 PM service at Oliverie Funeral Home 125 S. Cooks Bridge Rd Jackson. Interment is 11 AM Wednesday May 21, 2025, at the Brigadier Gen Wm C Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Tunnel to Towers 2361 Hylan Blvd Staten Island, NY 10361.
