Allen Conrad Swann, 67, of Mechanicsville, MD, passed away on September 12, 2025. On June 4, 1958, Allen was born in Washington, DC, to Joseph and Louise Swann.

In 1976, Allen graduated from Thomas Stone High School. That was also the year that he met and married his wife, Mary. From that union, they were blessed with four boys, Allen, Lawrence, Jerame, and Branden.

Allen was a hard-working man who loved to spend time with family and go on vacation. He devoted over 39 years of his career to Rockingham Co until health issues prompted his retirement. Additionally, he worked at the Washington Times alongside his brother, Billy, before moving on to a part-time position at Lowe's, ultimately finding employment at Food Lion.

In his free time, Allen enjoyed watching and cheering on his favorite football team, the Washington Commanders. He also had a passion for auto racing.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, his son Jerame, his brother Billy, his sisters-in-law Gloria, Debbie, and Alonda, as well as his brothers-in-law Jr and Henry. As well as two nephews, Henry and Joe, and a niece, Ann.

Allen leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Mary, and three sons, Allen (Nicole), Lawerance (Brandy), and Branden, as well as his brother Michael and sister Sharon. He also leaves behind a host of family and friends, grandkids Brooke, Chloe, and Logan, his hotshot, and bonus grandkids Kaitlin and Hunter.

On Friday, September 19, 2025, the family will receive friends for the visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with the service beginning at 12:00 pm, officiated by Deacon William Kyte at Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Interment will follow after the service at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.

Pallbearers will be James Young, Stephon Swann, Wesley Givens, Francis Proctor, Deandre Thompson, Logan Swann, and Deyontay Jones.
