Allen Marvin Wenz

Allen M. Wenz, age 80, of Faribault, died March 17, 2025 at Three Links Care Center, Northfield.
Funeral Services will be held at Boldt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Faribault on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. with the Reverend Jef Olson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault with military rites provided by the Rice County Central Veterans.
Allen Marvin, the son of Marlin and Marie (Daniels) Wenz, was born on July 23, 1944, in Hutchinson. He grew up in the Hector area and graduated from high school in Hector. Allen married Barbara Fischer on November 16, 1963. Together they raised two children, Scott and Sherry. Allen proudly served in the Air Force from 1962-1966. He worked for Green Giant as a parts supervisor and later for B & H Petroleum, Hanson's Woodworking and he retired from Daikin. Allen was an outdoorsman; he enjoyed camping and fishing with his family. He also enjoyed woodworking, listening to Elvis and sighting eagles.
Survivors include his children, Scott (Brooke) Wenz of Faribault, Sherry (Bryan) Wenz Helget of Comfrey; grandchildren, Shane Helget, Tyler Helget, Alysia (Joe) Moldashel and Heather (friend Robert) Helget; great grandchildren, Kayla, Andrea, Connor and Bradley; other relatives and friends.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barb; and sisters, Carol and Arlis.
