Allene Shannon Obituary

Allene was a devoted mother to her two children, Dale Shannon and his wife Michelle of Lily, Kentucky, and Luciana Shannon of London, Kentucky. She was also cherished by a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mona Ruth Benge.
Allene was of the Baptist faith and was known for her love of reading and spending time with her children and their friends, who affectionately called her 'mama Shannon.' She was a wonderful mother and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The graveside service for Allene Shannon will be conducted at 11 am Saturday at Pine Hill Cemetery in London, with Johnny Ray Benge officiating.
