Allene Shear

Allene Shear, born May 15, 1942, went home to be with her Lord on the morning of August 16, 2023.
She was born in Jackson, Kentucky and took her final breath in Howell, Michigan where she lived since 1967.
Allene was the cherished wife of the late Alfred "Honey" Shear, mother of Alfred J. (Connie) Shear and Pamiline Carlson. She was proudly the "Mamaw" to four grandchildren – Courtney (Taylor) Snyder, Shelby (Branden) Weber, Caleb Shear, and Melanie Carlson. Most recently, she was proudly awarded a new title of "Great-Mamaw" with the birth of Luke Charles Snyder, who brought her great joy.
For over three decades, Allene was a diligent employee of Alpha Technology where she worked on the production line. She was a good friend to many and was well-known for her meticulous work and friendly spirit.
Allene was part of the Marr Community Bible Church family. The church was filled with many who became close friends and encouragers, especially in her final days. She found joy in the simple things in life, tending to her yard, working on jigsaw puzzles, and making special things for special people. She was well-known for her mile-high biscuits with gravy and her "I-don't-need-a-recipe-peanut-butter-fudge". If she knew you would enjoy it, she would bring you some!
Allene became a "woman of the times" mastering texting and using "The Facebook". She so enjoyed staying connected with numerous beloved family and friends. We are thankful for the love she showered on us and the blessing she was to many.
Allene's family will receive friends at Marr Community Bible Church on Monday, August 21, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am. The church is located at 4494 N. Burkhart Rd., Howell, MI 48855. Intermit will take place in Webberville Cemetery, Webberville, Michigan. Memorial contributions in Allene's memory may be made to Marr community Bible Church.
