Allyson Cammauf Obituary

A memorial service for Allyson Raye Cammauf, 76, will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Tracy beginning at 12:00 p.m. A public visitation will begin one hour prior to the memorial service. A luncheon will be held at the Horvath Remembrance Center following the memorial service.

 

Allyson Raye Cammauf was born on June 11, 1947 to Art and Lillian (Hillquist) Thomas in Tracy, MN. She grew up in Tracy and graduated from Tracy High School in the spring of 1965. Upon graduation she continued her education at Southwest State University where she earned a Bachelors degree in psychology. On November 27, 1965 Allyson married David Bosacker. Together they raised three children; Mark, Monica and Sarah. They would later divorce.   She then moved to Memphis, TN where she worked as a manager for Northwest Airlines for 20+ years. After completing her career with Northwest she returned home to Marshall, MN to be closer to her family. Once back in Marshall she worked as a paraprofessional for the Marshall school system.   

Allyson loved to travel and took many trips throughout her lifetime. One of her favorite places to travel was New York City. A highlight of her travels was bringing her granddaughters to NYC to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July. Allyson was an avid reader and could often be found with a book. She also loved flowers and enjoyed spending time with her flowers and plants. 

Allyson passed away unexpectedly at home on December 29, 2023. 

She is survived by her children Mark (Mandy) Bosacker, granddaughter Jordan, great-grandchild Rudie; Monica Anderson, grandchildren Dalton, Mariah, Daniel; Sarah (Grant) Fischenich, grandchildren Lilli, Hatti, Hayden; siblings Cleone (Lloyd) Denzine, Cindy Moat, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

Allyson is preceded in death by her parents Art and Lillian Thomas; infant daughter Samantha; her sisters Twyla Crouse and Joan Guerrieri.
