Allyson Cola, a beloved resident of Hartsdale, New York, formerly of Pelham Manor, New York, passed away on March 23rd, 2024, at the age of 60. Born in New Rochelle Hospital to Peter and Edith Cola, Allyson was the youngest of six children. She spent her childhood in Pelham Manor, attending Prospect Hill Elementary School and Saints John and Paul School in Larchmont before graduating from Ursuline Academy in New Rochelle. From a young age, Allyson had a passion for the arts and floral design, nurtured by her parents who owned Grants Greenhouses.

Following her graduation, Allyson embarked on a career in the floral industry, starting at Graceland Florist and later joining her brother's businesses, "The Greenery Florist" in Hartsdale and "Evergreen Nurseries" in Cross River, New York. It was during this time that she met her former husband, Raymond Congro, with whom she raised their daughter, Alyssa.

Allyson will be fondly remembered as a kind-hearted individual with a love for laughter and a warm smile for everyone she met. Her social nature and ability to effortlessly make friends endeared her to many.

Allyson is survived by her daughter, Alyssa Congro, her two grandchildren, Alexis and Maverick, as well as her siblings: Linda (Tom LaMorte) Cola, Tom (Terry) Cola, Elaine (Mike) Vivalo, Peter (Susan) Cola, and Carolann Cola Salinardo. She will also be dearly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
