Alma M. "Button" Grove (Dixon) ObituaryAlma M. "Button" Grove passed away in her home on December 15, 2024, with her loving husband at her side. She has gone home to be with the Lord. She was born in Pilot, Surry County, NC, on October 14, 1953, making her stay here on earth 71 years, 2 months, and 1 day. She enjoyed a wonderful marriage for 42 years.
Button was the daughter of Roy and Annie (Lowe) Dixon, and was preceded in death by her parents. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Billy, Bobby, and Dale, as well as her sister Rosie Griffith. She is survived by her Husband Randy Grove, her children Kenny Grove and wife Shelly from New Freedom PA, her son Randy Grove and wife Jessica from Montgomery County MD, and her son James Grove from Whitwell TN. 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters Georgia Keefer and Maggie Arnold, and her brothers David and Mark Dixon.
Button Grove was a member of Pleasant Home Regular Baptist Church in Airville PA. She professed a born-again salvation in Jesus Christ in 1967 and lived a life that mirrored that belief. She was a loving mother, sister, daughter and Christian. She loved singing gospel songs and speaking about the good things of the Lord. Due to God's mercy and her born-again salvation in Jesus Christ, Button is now resting in the presence of God. She will sorely be missed by all who knew her but is now enjoying the fullness of God's grace.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 19 from 6-9 pm at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA
Funeral services are on Friday, December 20 beginning at 11 am at the Pleasant Home Regular Baptist Church, 20 Salisbury Rd., Airville, PA.
Elder Rob Lins will officiate.
Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
