It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Alta June Lohn, a cherished daughter, mother, sister, and beloved friend, who departed this earthly realm on the third day of October in the year 2025. Born on the 19th of July, 1950, in the quaint town of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, she was a beacon of warmth and joy, shining brightly through a life rich with love and laughter.

Alta, known affectionately by her family and friends, was the daughter of Loshel and Beulah (Adams) Rogers, who preceded her in death, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength that Alta embodied throughout her life. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy, Eddie, and Billy Rogers, along with her sister, Cardella Wilson, all of whom await her in a serene embrace.

A resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, for many years, Alta's spirit resonated within her community. For more than two decades, she dedicated herself to serving at Chili's, where her vibrant personality and passion for connecting with others left an indelible mark on the lives she touched. Her presence was often accompanied by the rhythm of music and the joy of dancing, activities that illuminated her love for life and willingness to celebrate every moment with exuberance.

Alta leaves behind her daughters, Angi Bradham and her husband Pete, Crystal Day and her husband Paul, and Stephanie Witt and her husband Keith, who carry forward her legacy of love and laughter. She also holds a cherished place in the hearts of her sisters, Ruby Goode and Debbie Sebastian. Her family continues to grow through seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, each one a testament to the love she instilled in her own children and family.

Though she may have closed her eyes to this world, the memory of Alta June Lohn will continue to dance through the lives of those who loved her deeply. Her zest for life, her enduring spirit, and the depth of her love will be celebrated and cherished for generations to come. As we reflect on her remarkable life, let us keep her memory alive through the stories we share, the lessons she taught, and the love that binds us all, reminding us to embrace the music and dance of life, just as she did.
