On January 31, 1937 in the city of Robinson Texas; a baby girl was born to Parthenia and Jessie Sanders. They named her Altha Mae Sanders. She was their first child.
Altha accepted Christ into her life at an early age. She completed her high school years at AJ Moore. In Waco, Altha was united in Holy Matrimony to Marvin Ellis. To the union, 3 children were born. In 1968 she married Roy Charles Brown Sr. in which she gained two step daughters and three stepsons. Altha raised four of her grandchildren, Tashia, Demetrius, Toya, and Kayla.
Altha worked at the bank for many, many years. Altha had a passion for singing. Her voice was like an angel, shared through weddings, funerals, and special occasions.
Altha made her transition into the arms of Our Heavenly Father, who loves her the most, on Oct 25,2025 at 8:30 am. She lived a long, 88 beautiful years of life. She was able to see her fifth generation. Altha had 10 fifth living generations! How beautiful is that!?
Preceding in her death is her loving husband Roy, her mother and her father Parthenia and Jessie Sanders. Two sons, Micheal and Marvin Ellis, sister Elvassia, brother Joe Sanders, and two stepsons Roy Jr. and Micheal Brown.
She leaves to cherish her life, her loving son Russell Ellis, her daughter Kayla, sisters Lisa and Jessie Mae, two step daughters Deborah Kay and Margie Brown, four stepsons Reginald, Henry, Shawn, and Lavell. A host of grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, and a host if family and friends
