Altha N Coleman

Altha N. Coleman was born on May 18, 1944 to the union of Hamp and Lucille Patterson, Sr. She was called home on Friday, April 18, 2025 at The Retreat Hospice by Saad.
Altha accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a devoted member of Saint Luke Missionary Baptist Church. There she served faithfully in both the Inspirational Choir and the Women's Chorus.
Altha was employed with the Little Sisters of the Poor. After many years of dedicated service she retired.
She was preceded in death by her beloved sisters: Gloria P. Burnett and Juanita Patterson.
Altha leaves to cherish her precious memories, two sons: Roderick and Kelvin Coleman both of Mobile, AL; two devoted brothers: Hamp (Marilyn) Patterson, Jr. of Arlington, TX and Frederick (Julia) Patterson, Sr. of Mobile, AL; five grandchildren: Terrance, Jamal, Ethan, Kaelin and Kayla; one devoted niece, Lovie (Christopher) Thompkins; and three nephews: Kitrick Patterson of Covington, GA, David (Cheryl) Williams, and Frederick (Zandra) Patterson, Jr. both of Mobile, AL; three great-nephews: Frederick III, Zach, and Zion all of Mobile, AL; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Among those especially devoted: Charles Wilcox, Authur Wilcox, Jr., Jacqueline Porter, Alonzo Patterson, Bernice Edwards, and Terriesa Clay.
